Financial Psychology for Financial Planners: Improving Client Acquisition, Service, and Retention

This self-study program consisting of a recorded webinar is taught by Dr. Brad Klontz, CFP®, professor, author, and leading expert in the fields of financial psychology, behavioral finance, and financial therapy. It introduces financial psychology and how it can be used to improve the effectiveness of financial planning. Specifically, it covers the following content areas: a) introduction to financial psychology, b) financial planning versus coaching and therapy, c) how to better engage clients in the financial planning process, d) how to recognize client ambivalence and resistance to change, and e) 9 evidence-based techniques that can be used to by financial planners to help clients improve their financial behaviors.
